About us

Mount Noddy Animal Centre supports the local work of the RSPCA in Chichester and surrounding areas. Nestled in the beautiful West Sussex countryside, Mount Noddy Animal Centre first opened its doors in 1969 and provides care and assistance to hundreds of dogs and cats who need a second chance in life to find a forever home. The cats and dogs that come into our care may have been abandoned or neglected and in some cases owners are simply not able to care for them any longer.

The dedicated animal care team are passionate about animal welfare. With a wealth of experience from a variety of backgrounds the team ensure that every animal taken into our care is treated as an individual from the moment they step through our doors. Upon arrival at the centre each animal is assessed by our behaviourist and examined by our vet, enabling us to identify and meet medical and nutritional needs. Training plans are also developed for each individual to help prepare them for finding that special forever home!

It costs around £500,000 a year to run our animal centre. The animals need us, and we need you.

When you choose to support Mount Noddy Animal Centre through a monetary donation, the funds go directly to helping each and every animal. Your donations help us to provide veterinary treatment, food, enrichment and care for the dogs and cats until they find their forever homes.
